You’ve decided to remodel your bathroom, now what? You’ve spoken to the tile contractor, GC or Designer, and they’ve referred you to contact Instant Plumbing and Rooter. First off, thank you so much for considering us for your plumbing project! We look forward to working with you and getting to know what your vision is for your completed space.
Since there are so many different finishes, styles and types of fixtures available, we ask our clients to supply these items. Whether you are changing a tub/shower combo and replacing it with a tub with tile surround, or taking your master bath that has a soaking tub with a smaller shower and converting that to a big walk-in shower (eliminating the tub all together), we can help with all of your plumbing needs. We recommend doing some research online to get an idea on the style and finish you like to complete your bathroom remodel. Maybe a brushed nickel finish or the new black matte finish, or maybe you want some extra bling and go with gold or chrome? Next is style, there are traditional faucet fixtures or more modern or contemporary options available. No matter which option you choose, your new bathroom will be a beautiful retreat for you to relax in.
On the plumbing side of things for 1 bathroom, this would be completed in 2 visits. We would schedule the rough-in visit, which is all the plumbing behind the walls. After tile has been completed and grouted, we would come back out and install all the trim fixtures, which are the handles and finish plumbing fixtures to complete your space.
Now, time to get into the nitty gritty on what items you will need to complete the plumbing portion for your bathroom remodel. There are multiple plumbing supply stores in the Valley. The 3 most common (not including the big box stores) are Hughes Plumbing Supply, Central Arizona Supply and Ferguson Plumbing Supply. We require that all fixtures be on site for the rough-in plumbing visit. This is required so we can ensure measurements and layout will line up or fit correctly before any finish work is completed.
